Novaled GmbH is a research and development company and the world's leading supplier of special chemicals for the application in organic light emitting diodes (OLEDs). Novaled's products can be found in most AMOLED displays, including smartphones, TVs and smartwatches. Novaled‘s main shareholder is Samsung SDI.


YOUR ROLE:

To strengthen our n-side Group, we are currently seeking a Physicist – Organic Electronics R&D (m/f/d) with the following areas of focus:

  • Independently develop and analyze business-relevant materials within R&D projects and the ideation process, including related documentation and data analysis
  • Fabricate, develop, and analyze relevant (OLED) devices
  • Develop technical solutions based on specifications from internal and external customers
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams of chemists, physicists, and engineers, as well as external partners and customers
  • Identify and evaluate potentially patentable technical solutions and actively contribute to the generation of new intellectual property (IP)
  • Proactively drive innovation and organizational change processes

 YOUR PROFILE:

  • Master’s degree in physics, ideally with a Ph.D.
  • Experience in organic electronics, particularly in the fabrication and characterization of devices
  • In-depth knowledge and practical experience in the characterization of thin films
  • In-depth understanding of chemical structures and structure-property relationships, particularly in the context of electro-optical applications
  • Strong customer focus
  • Ability to work well in a team, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently and responsibly
  • Practical approach to work with a proactive problem-solving mindset
  • Excellent written and spoken English; knowledge of German is desirable
